Ceramide Ultra Lipstick, fancy name huh? Well you need a fancy name for a fancy lipstick and this one lives up to the hype. I'm wearing Violetini and it's such a beautiful berry based violet colour. I wear a lot of black and monochrome clothes in winter, so it's nice to lift an outfit with a splash of colour on the lips.
Colour wise this lipstick is so pigmented! I swiped once and didn't need to go over my lips again to even out the colour! The thing I usually find with highly pigmentated colours is that they can be rather matte or drying. This one is very moisturising, so much so that it looks like you have a gloss on top as it delivers a high shine finish.
The kicker that really cemented this as my Lipstick Of The Week? It's infused with Volulip™ which subtly plump your lips. High shine, moisturising colour and bigger lips? Ah yes please! My lips aren't very full so I'm all about trying to counteract that.
What exactly is Volulip™? Here is the spiel; It's an advanced peptide complex with intensive moisturising abilities, which visibly plumps the appearance of lips. Ceramide Triple Complex, a blend of skin-identical Ceramides 1, 3 and 6 enhanced with phytosphingosine, helps strengthen and retexturise skin’s appearance and hold vital skin-plumping moisture within the skin. Lips look fuller and younger. Contours seem more defined.
