A swipe of my favourite shade across my lips can totally and utterly transform my mood. Wearing a bold red likeM.A.C’s Lady Danger makes me feel powerful, my favourite deep nude Velvet Teddy makes me feel put together and my favourite pink toned Kinda Sexy makes me feel all kinds of happy.

I have always been a fan of a body oil...here is looking at you my old friend Kai but this summer I have been slathering myself in all sorts of them and I CAN'T GE ENOUGH! My body seems to be loving me for it as its soaking them all up big time! Body oils are amazing for a number of reasons; a little goes a long way, they are more easily absorbed by the body and don't actually clog pores like some moisturisers can do, they are mulit-functional (get it all up in your hair for a moisture surge) and they smell insanely good.

HYDRATING MISTS ARE A BIG THING – HERE ARE MY PERSONAL FAVOURITES
Hydrating mists have been big in the beauty world for the last few years and I totally understand why. They are one of my favourite beauty items for a number of reasons; they’re portable so it’s easy to give the skin a blast of moisture or freshen up when needed, use before applying makeup to add to application or set your powders with it, they invigorate tired skin as well and give you that dewy look everyone is after. What’s not to love girlfriends, get amongst if you haven’t already!
Here are a few of my personal favourites I’ve used from $10 – so something to suit everyone’s budgets.

I have been taking part of a Skin journey with Caci Clinic for the last few months and today was my second appointment with what looks like a tiny little torture device, the Dermal Roller. While it looks like a tiny torture device covered in painful needles it’s more like a one-stop shop skin savor device for the skin. Why? It has a tonne of benefits, reduction in deeply pitted acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, stretch marks, skin discoloration, collagen induction, pore shrinkage and enhanced product absorption. Sounds good right?

About a month ago I visited the Osmosis headquarters and was schooled in their new beauty line Osmosis Colour, well I shouldn't say new, as it isn't, but for some reason I hadn't come across it which is weird as I know all about their skincare range. Madness I tell ya! The collection is mineral based and I have fallen in love with it more and more from the day I started wearing it. Where to start?

Read MoreThe Kiwi Basics Line You Need This Summer
Finding a great basics line can be difficult, you want something simple, but unique in design, not too pricey and something that lasts for longer than a season! I'm looking at you Bassike, holes are forever appearing in delicately washed tees! Lucky for me my clever sister-in-law has been designing Five Each for a number of years now and you need to get amongst it asap. Five Each is based and designed out of Mount Manuganui and my summer wardrobe is full of their tees, sets and dresses. In fact their matching sets are always my favourite, I have so many now and always get so many comments on them. In fact I wish I brought two sets of what I'm wearing below, I'm so paranoid it's going to be stained or ruined one day and then I won't be able to wear it anymore which will be a very very sad day.
Read MoreLoving Liquid Assets
When the Liquid Assets range from Elizabeth Arden landed on my door-step I was pretty excited to see it contained a limited edition highlighter. As you may know from my million snap chats about it and blog posts I am a MASSIVE fan of the last highlighter that Elizabeth Arden released. So much so I went and bought a few back ups as it's limited edition and I want it in my make up life for a looooong time! This time the highlighter is liquid rather than a stick and rounds out the collection of liquid lipsticks and eyeliner.
